Feeeshies

It's really a shock how gravel can change a fish tank. We had black gravel in our 10 gallon tank, and I got sick of it. I asked a friend what the best way to change the gravel in a goldfish tank was, and she happily helped me. She also gave us a 22 gallon tank when Adam played a gig in St. Louis last year. Unfortunately, it's too big for apartment right now, but we've decided to save it for when we move out.

So, I changed the gravel and put in some white gravel, and I added in some new fake plants. I prefer the bright colored plants, and the color of the plants and the white gravel look nice.

I'll try to take pics when the tank settles. Speedy J didn't seem too happy about being in a cola cup for a few minutes.

FINAID update

I've contacted the finaid office several times today with cordial replies. However, I learned that unless the class is going to devastate my GPA, it's best that I stay in. Apparently, since I have not completed 75% of attempted course work, it has effects on my financial aid. I was totally unaware of this, and I've gotten crap information from the University College advisors (shock of shocks). I did figure out my GPA as a total worst case scenario, and while I'd still be on academic probation, I won't be dismissed. Worst case scenario includes a B-, 2 Cs, and a D. That's totalworst case scenario.

My little man...

I took some pics of Jaeger this morning...

So ready...

I'm so ready for May. Why? I'm hoping that Fuse-In or whatever name it will be going by this time will happen. I love being there. I always have a great time, and there's nothing better than being completely drunk in public with friends for a holiday weekend. Oh, and not to mention the great music we get to hear.

What brought this on? I'm listening to Adam's set at the Nefarious tent from DEMF 2003 which was the first year that I went.

Okay, I need to stop this. It's not even winter yet, and I'm already hoping for spring.

this application has unexpectedly quit

I got that error several times today, and no, I was not using a PC.

I was at the end of my book report for my soc. class, and I went to save it in Appleworks as a .doc file. Well, it saved, and the maclink transfer came up. Okay. Then Appleworks just quit. No big deal, I could retype the last paragraph if it didn't save. Well, the fucking icon wasn't even on my desktop for the document, period. Fortunately, I searched through finder, Mac's cooler version of windows explorer, and found it. Tried it again. Same thing. Fuck. Well, then I decided to save it in Appleworks format and deal with it later. I eventually got it to work, but now I'm worried my prof. won't be able to open it. I'll just have to install appleworks on Adam's iMac. Trust me. It's not going to kill me to do this since his iMac is super sexy and sweet. ;)
