End of the Weekend Update

Went and saw Adam's momma on Saturday. She's doing well and is in good spirits. We also got to take Madison with us in the nursing home. Sweet! After that, we went to my parents' house. I think my mom was trying to get me good and liquored up for whatever reason. It was nice to go down there and not have to take a shitload of laundry with us.

I'm over half through with N&D. The rest of it to be finished sometime today.

I've started some chicken soup in the crock pot. I was hoping to find out if it is possible to can such soup with rice in it to take to school. Never found a straight answer on that. I'm open to suggestions.

Planning on going to see Adam's mom again today. We need to mail out some packages and stop at the bank as well. I also need to find some print ads with certain "feelings" to them. That should be fun. *grumble*

Didn't end up going to any Halloween parties this year. We had planned to stop by at a friend's on our way home, but I was already trashed, and Adam was tired. Instead we went home and pigged out on some cupcakes that I had bought.

On a side note, I've been debating about getting an IUD. Only problem is that I actually don't mind having my period. I don't see having issues getting one, but I like getting my period. I think I'll just stick to the pill for now. Otherwise, BASSETS GALORE! ;)

How's everyone? :)

Oh, YUCK! I haven't gotten to bigger projects yet, but it already pisses me off to no end when I have to tear apart something small like hand-warmer type gloves. Ugh. I feel your pain. :(

Let me know if it comes out okay after you finish it. The sweater looks pretty, though. :)

Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, do you have any suggestions for good knitting magazines? Preferably ones that don't have projects that are too terribly hard?
