Rudeness? Never!
I've noticed this year that people on campus seem acceptionally rude. Maybe it's my frame of mind I've been in lately, who knows.
For instance, I was walking to my W131 class today. I ran into a classmate, said hi, and continued walking. While we were walking, he totally stopped dead in his tracks so we weren't walking together. Thing is, I wasn't even talking to him. Is there something wrong with me that I'm not aware about?
Not to mention that people seemed to have forgotten "please" and "thank you". Stupid kids.

I've seen people be really rude lately, but I've also had a couple of really nice experiences with people being polite and even going out of their way to do something nice for me, a complete stranger. Thus, I am reserving my judgement for the time being.

I truly do not understand why people go out of the way to be rude, when a smile takes less effort.
Being from the South, we are use to being friendly and it is still difficult for me living NOW in South FL - where so many people are so rude. It is still amazing to me.
Have a good day! (smiling)

I think it was that particular instance that irked me. For the most part, people are generally nice, but I think I let the bad ones blind me.
